About BackerSky

BackerSky operates the BackerSky campaign discovery, newsletter, directory, editorial placement, reporting, and related creator services described in these terms.

Eligibility and review

Purchasing a package does not guarantee publication. BackerSky reviews campaign fit, identity, platform status, creative assets, reward clarity, geography, timing, and tracking readiness. A rejected campaign receives a refund of the placement fee.

Payment and scope

Listed packages are prepaid in USD through Shopify checkout. Commission, Kickbooster, advertising spend, creative production, and third-party platform fees are not included unless agreed separately in writing.

Creator responsibilities

The creator must provide accurate campaign information, authorized assets, a working destination URL, and any required referral label. The creator must promptly disclose material changes to rewards, pricing, campaign status, delivery claims, or tracking.

Performance statements

The 118K+ figure describes potential BackerSky community reach and is not a guaranteed delivered audience for every placement. A 3-10x ROI figure is a planning target, not a promise. Crowdfunding results depend on campaign fit, offer, creative, timing, platform behavior, and market demand.

Reporting and attribution

Reporting uses information available from the delivery channel and the creator's Kickstarter or Indiegogo reporting. Results may include placement date, delivered audience, opens, clicks, CTR, attributed backers, and pledged amount when available. Broken or changed tracking can limit attribution.

Intellectual property

The creator grants BackerSky a limited license to use submitted campaign names, logos, images, video frames, descriptions, and links solely to review, prepare, publish, and report the purchased placement. The creator confirms they have the right to provide those materials.

Refunds and cancellations

Refund eligibility is governed by the BackerSky Refund Policy and any package-specific written agreement.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, BackerSky is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, platform outages, campaign suspension, unavailable third-party reporting, or results outside the agreed placement. BackerSky's aggregate liability for a placement will not exceed the fee paid for that placement.
